We're very pleased to announce the construction of the 2nd mixed passenger/freighter vessel to be added to the Aranui fleet.

She's called the Aranoa and will serve the magnificent Austral Islands south of Tahiti, while the Aranui 5 will continue to serve the Marquesas Islands. She will be slightly smaller than the Aranui 5, with 93 cabins (62 with balconies), but with the same concept. She will be able to carry up to 198 passengers, plus freight of course. 2 restaurants and 2 bars, 2 whirlpools with ocean views, 1 boutique will complete the offer.

In 2027, the ARANOA will sail the waters of the South Pacific to embark on its main mission: supplying the Austral Islands and showcasing its magnificent, still unknown islands.

Like the ARANUI V, which will continue to serve the Marquesas Islands, the ARANOA will also be a mixed passenger-freighter vessel, equipped with the latest technologies to minimize its environmental impact. This unique model of inclusive tourism, which has contributed to the company’s success for 40 years, is particularly well-suited to the insular territory of French Polynesia. This project will help develop the Austral archipelago by offering new economic opportunities, promoting inter-island exchanges, and highlighting its vibrant landscapes and rich culture!

Construction of the Aranoa began last November, and the first departures of this brand-new ship are scheduled for the first half of 2027. In June 2025, we should be able to release fares, departure dates and detailed itineraries and start taking bookings.
