Aranui 5 is a custom-built, dual-purpose passenger/freighter ship designed to offer all of comforts of a cruise liner, while operating as a supply ship. Aranui 5 is classified as a small vessel, accommodating approximately 230 passengers in 103 cabins.With eight different guest decks, the interior decor reflects the Polynesian heritage of her owners and crew. The ship features a restaurant where all the meals onboard are served in a casual setting; one lounge; two conference rooms, where guest lecturers will offer presentations on various topics related to the Marquesas; three bars, including the Sky Bar with sweeping panoramic views; an outdoor swimming-pool; a boutique; a spa; a gym and the first tattoo studio at sea.

Our gracious staff and crew, many of whom have been with us for many years and are from the islands we visit, will welcome you as family and delight in introducing you to their centuries-old customs. They join our knowledgeable, multilingual lecturers and guides in sharing the French Polynesian culture with you as you explore these captivating islands.
Accommodating just 230 passengers, Aranui 5 offers the same relaxed and friendly atmosphere as her predecessors. Meet new friends at the bar, and relax on the deck, or by the pool as the islands float by. If you seek privacy, retreat to your balcony in a suite or deluxe stateroom. Every evening presents a new opportunity to watch the infinite colours of the sunset dance in the sky and reflect in the sea as another day draws to a close in the South Pacific. After a three-course dinner, the lively Aranui Band will introduce you to Polynesian rhythms and teach you to swivel your hips to the infectious beat of the Tamure.

Aranui 5, your adventure cruise in the French Polynesia, Marquesas islands, begins the journey from Tahiti.
The Aranui is a mixed passenger/cargo vessel that operates between Tahiti and the Marquesas.
It offers 103 comfortable, air-conditioned accommodations for about two hundred passengers. Passengers will be able to sunbathe on deck, swim in the pool, or enjoy exotic tropical drinks while the Aranui wends her way among the islands of the Marquesas carrying up to 2,300 tons of freight.
Accommodations classes are Suites, Deluxe, Standard, Balcony and Dormitory Class.
The vessel operates under the French flag, and her crew are all Polynesian, primarily Marquesans. Additional vessel particulars are available.
